The first session is tonight, September 30, 2024, from 6-8 PM at Wilson's Mills Elementary. The second information session will be held on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, from 6-8 PM at Swift Creek Middle School. Please note that all attendees will need to enter through the front entrance and proceed through the weapons detection system. The Johnston County Board of Education believes in providing thorough and timely information to the citizens of Johnston County. The next data highlight from the 2023-2024 school year data report is phenomenal! Twenty-three of our schools earned their way into the top 20% of the state for growth. It is imperative that all of our leadership and school stakeholders understand the projects that will be funded by this referendum. Good evening Patriot Families, This is your Principal, Lyndsey Dunn, with your updates for the upcoming week. Thank you so much for your support with the Apex Fun Run and our Book Fair! We will have our finished totals to share soon, but we could not be more thankful for the support you all provided during these busy two weeks. Looking ahead, Quarter one progress reports will be coming home on Thursday, September 26th. There will be several letters, as well as reports from the current assessments your child has been taking. Grading from the current standards will come home with Report Cards, but not with progress reports. Friday, September 27th will be an Early Release Day. Therefore, dismissal will begin at 1:45 pm. Thank you for all that you do and have a good weekend!

We hope to see you at our FREE Health Classes at McGee's Crossroads Elementary tomorrow, Wednesday September 18th. We will focus on choosing more fruits and vegetables and enjoy a sample of beef stir fry! Every class has a workout and a taste test. Everyone is welcome, see you then!
