Our Kindergarten and 1st grade students did an outstanding job last night. Thank You for all who came out.

Mrs. Silva's class is working hard in small reading groups on their journal writing, roll and read activity, story writing using beginning, middle, end, problem & solution and finding words with specific spelling patterns learned in Fundations.

Mrs. Kirby’s class is hard at work preparing to write stories using a story map to organize their thoughts. They are focusing on the characters, setting, beginning, middle, and end of stories.

Calendar Change. December 20th is now an Early Release Day.

These students were chosen for the October Character trait Self Direct. They dream big, set goals and take action.

Tomorrow is make-up picture day for those that missed it.
We are holding our annual can food drive for Kenly Area Ministries until November 26. Please send in cans with your student if you are interested in donating.
One last announcement for those of you that participate in carpool. Please do not pass any vehicles at arrival and dismissal. We also would like for all students to exit out of the right side of the vehicle (the side closest to the sidewalk). These measures will help us ensure the safety of all students.

Congratulations for the students receiving their Reading Award for Nov 15th. Keep on reading. We had a total of 7 to reach their goal of reading 100 books. Keep reading
