Celebrating Principal Kelly Holland
October we celebrated National Principals Month, and we want to take a moment to recognize our incredible principal, Mrs. Kelly Holland.
Mrs. Holland is more than just a leader, she is the heart of our school. She leads with compassion, integrity, and a deep commitment to doing what’s best for our students, staff, and community. Her high morals, genuine care, and selfless spirit are evident in everything she does.
Mrs. Holland consistently puts others before herself, ensuring that every decision is made with love and purpose. We are truly grateful for her leadership, her kindness, and her dedication to making our school a place where everyone can thrive.
Thank you, Ms. Holland, for all you do! 💙

JCPS continues to shine! 🌟
We are excited to announce that Johnston County Public Schools has continued its journey to becoming one of the best districts in the state, according to 2024-2025 data recently released by NCDPI.
A few of the district highlights included a significant increase in student proficiency scores and school performance grades, with 93% of our schools having a school letter grade of A, B, or C! 75% of our schools met or exceeded growth, which is well above the state average.
Amazingly, 15 of our schools rank in the top 20% statewide, with seven schools in the top 10% for growth! Graduation rates for JCPS schools continue to rise, with JCPS reaching 92.5%, which is significantly higher than the state average of 87.7%
A huge thank you to our incredible educators, hardworking students, and supportive families for helping drive this success forward! 📈

Per JCPS policy, a parent/guardian must be at the bus stop for all Pre-K, K, and 1st grade students. If your child has an older sibling on the same bus, you may give permission for the sibling to escort them home.
If no adult or sibling is present, your child will be brought back to school for pickup. Contact the office with any questions.
Forms will be given to bus drivers this afternoon, and they will hand one to any K–1 student who has an older sibling on the bus. If you have any questions, please contact the office.
