Good evening Patriot Families! This is your Principal, Lyndsey Dunn. We hope you enjoyed the snow and have stayed safe and warm. We look forward to seeing our students back in school tomorrow. As a reminder, JCPS is currently operating on a 2 hour delay tomorrow, Thursday, February 5. Carpool will begin unloading and the doors will open at 10:30. The tardy bell rings at 10:55.
* We are still planning on holding our Someone Special Event tomorrow and Friday evening from 5:30 - 7:30 pm. We can't wait to see which special adult each of our students bring with them. This event accepts cash and card payments and there will be food trucks on site to purchase concessions from as well. For anyone that has pre-paid, due to not being at school, we have not been able to sort and send home wristbands. Therefore, both nights, there will be a "VIP" table that you will get in line to receive your pre-paid items for. We appreciate your patience and understanding in this change of plans. If you didn't purchase ahead of time, you will be able to do that at the door also.
* In other news, Progress reports will now be sent home on Friday instead of tomorrow so that ample time can be given to print them at the school.
* If your child attends early morning care, it will open at 8:30 tomorrow.
Thank you for all that you do and we look forward to seeing you tomorrow. Have a good evening.

Good evening Patriot Families,
This is your Principal, Lyndsey Dunn with your updates for the week. This week, you may have seen a flier come home from our PTA regarding our Someone Special Dance. The dates for that event are February 5th and 6th, based on your last name. More information will be provided soon, but please refer to the facebook pages and the flier to buy tickets and plan for the special adult in your child’s life to attend with them.
In the event that we have inclement weather, inclement weather packets were already sent home with Quarter 1 report cards. Today, additional review/practice work was also sent home if needed. More communication will come if inclement weather arrives.
Our School is working on becoming a Project Adam Certified School - which prepares schools for sudden cardiac arrest through education and life-saving techniques. A drill will be held after school on Wednesday with a team of people. Students will not be on campus for the drill, unless your child attends after school care. No need to worry if you see Emergency services or Law enforcement on campus - it is just to practice the drill.
Stay safe and warm this weekend.
