This is your new principal, Ashley Foisy, and I am so excited to be sending our first message of the school year! Our staff returned on Monday and has been busy preparing for the arrival of our students. We cannot wait to welcome all of our new and returning Patriots back to school!
Our traditional postcards with your child’s teacher information will be mailed tomorrow Friday, August 14th. Be on the lookout for your postcard in the mail! If your child does not receive a postcard, please do not worry. We will be able to provide that information when you arrive for Open House.
Speaking of Open House - Mark your calendars! Open House for Kindergarten - 5th Grade will be next Thursday, August 20th. Families with last names beginning with A–M are asked to attend between 4:00 and 5:15 p.m. Families with last names beginning with N–Z are asked to attend between 5:15 and 6:30 p.m.
We are also pleased to once again offer Early Morning and After School Care for families who need this service. Registration must be completed separately for each child. Our top priority is maintaining a safe staff-to-student ratio for all students who attend. Due to the high demand, there will be a limit on the number of students we can accommodate, so registration will be first come, first served.
Registration and payment information is available on our school website. Please remember that registration must be completed for each child individually. Our director, Mrs. Mandy Bowden, will contact you once your registration and payment have been received to confirm your child’s enrollment.

Revisions define vapes and expresses that there will be a 10-day suspension for any student in violation of the code.

As we prepare for the 2026-2027 school year, on Monday, July 27th and Tuesday, July 28th, JCPS Information Services, Transportation and Student Services departments will be hosting a Summer Information Fair at three locations: Cleveland High, Corinth-Holders High, and Smithfield-Selma High.
Families can visit any of these three campuses from 12:00 PM-6:00 PM to complete new enrollment applications, receive status updates on existing enrollment applications, and collect required enrollment documentation. Parents will be able to receive information on how transportation is provided, request transportation if they did not use it the previous year, or discuss any summer address changes that impact transportation. Student Services will also be available to provide student resources.
