Every day , it is our mission to ensure that all students and parents know that the school buses are in safe condition, that the staff is committed to children's safety and well being. The goal of the JCPS Transportation Department is to enrich the lives of our most precious cargo by safely and efficiently transporting every student to and from school that boards a JCPS school bus.
About Our Department
Our school district operate approximately 240 school buses each day along with a fleet of 62 activity buses in circulation. JCPS school buses travel more than 22,000 miles each day while transporting more than 23,000 assigned riders daily.
