Medical Homebound

Homebound services can be provided to students who are unable to attend school for medical or mental health reasons for 10 or more school days. Homebound services allow services for students who are intermittently unable to attend school (Policy Code: 3280 Homebound Program). This could include services provided in conjunction with modified day via face to face or online instruction.

Inability to attend school must be certified by licensed health provider (physician, PA, or CNP) or clinical mental health provider (licensed clinical psychologist, or licensed clinical social worker); and will be reviewed by the school based homebound committee.
