My Role: As the Executive Director of Instructional Technology, I have the privilege of supporting JCPS students and staff by promoting the effective use of technology to enhance student learning. My role encompasses ensuring teachers have access to reliable, high-quality digital tools, troubleshooting complex technical challenges, and offering flexible professional development options to enrich educators' daily practices. Driven by a commitment to service and excellence, I focus on aligning our efforts with the district's strategic plan to support our shared goals for student achievement.

My Why:  It is my mission to break down barriers and personalize learning experiences, igniting a passion for discovery in both educators and students. By bridging traditional education with innovative technology, I am committed to cultivating critical thinking, creativity, and real-world problem-solving skills, equipping our learners to thrive as future leaders and engaged global citizens.

My Role: As the Director of Digital Learning Platforms and Pedagogy, my role is to support teachers so that they can better support their students. I help provide professional development workshops and individual coaching to support district school improvement goals and individual school or teacher needs.

My Why: Early in my teaching career, I began saving the notes and cards that students and parents would write to me when they felt I had made an impact. Whenever things are tough or I need motivation, I reach into the box that contains those notes and cards, pull a few out, and read them. It’s easy to know my why each time I read the grateful words of someone who has appreciated my assistance.

My Role: As the Digital Learning and Media Specialist, I support JCPS educators and students by connecting innovative instructional practices with meaningful opportunities for learning. My work includes supporting school library media programs, advancing digital learning, expanding STEM and maker-centered experiences, and providing professional learning that empowers educators to create engaging, future-ready learning environments. Through collaboration, advocacy, and strategic partnerships, I work to expand access to resources and experiences that inspire curiosity, creativity, and authentic problem-solving across our schools.

My Why: I believe the most powerful learning happens when students are curious, invested, and empowered to create, explore, and solve problems that matter. My why is to help educators turn that spark of curiosity into meaningful learning experiences by removing barriers, opening doors to new opportunities, and connecting students with the tools, people, and experiences that help them see what is possible. Whether through technology, STEM, libraries, or authentic project-based learning, my goal is to help create schools where every learner has opportunities to discover their strengths, pursue their ideas, and put their knowledge into action.
