Tomorrow is make-up picture day for those that missed it.
We are holding our annual can food drive for Kenly Area Ministries until November 26. Please send in cans with your student if you are interested in donating.
One last announcement for those of you that participate in carpool. Please do not pass any vehicles at arrival and dismissal. We also would like for all students to exit out of the right side of the vehicle (the side closest to the sidewalk). These measures will help us ensure the safety of all students.

Wednesday- Dress up as a Twin
Thursday- Team Spirit Day
Friday- School Spirit Day (wear yellow and blue)
Friday our first grade students will be going on their field trip. Parents, please be sure to complete the volunteer application if you are planning to attend.

October is Fire Prevention Month. Thank you to the local fire departments, Kenly, Antioch , and Bethany, for talking with our students. They learned a lot and had a good time. Thank you for volunteering your time to educate students on Fire Prevention.



The Daughters of the American Revolution (DRA) Chapter presented our 1st Grade team and the media center with a copy of "The Very Quiet Cricket." We would like to Thank You for your donation.

Let's celebrate Ms. Kelly Holland, principal of Glendale-Kenly Elementary School!
Ms. Holland has 19 years of experience with JCPS. She was a teacher at South-Smithfield Elementary School for 11 years and has been at Glendale-Kenly Elementary for seven years as an assistant principal intern/assistant principal, and two years as principal.
Ms. Holland is passionate about both her students and staff, making her an incredible asset to the Wildcat family.
