This summer, we’re getting ready to support our students even more in the year ahead by stocking our Care Closet.
The Care Closet provides essential items such as:
Personal hygiene products
Snacks
Clothing
School supplies
These resources are available for students facing financial hardship, those with limited access to basic needs, or for unexpected situations—like needing a change of clothes during the school day. This also helps support busy parents who may not be able to leave work immediately. Your donations make a real difference. Thank you for helping us care for our kids!

In an effort to bridge the connection between school and community, we wanted to share some information that might be of interest to our Dixon Road Elementary School families and our surrounding community.
📢It has been reported that JCPS students have received more than 66.2 million in scholarship offerings for the 2024-2025 school year! This is an amazing 18 million more than scholarship offerings received during the 2023-2024 year!📢
A great deal of the offerings have been accepted and will cover tuition costs as these students continue their educational journeys!
💲JCPS is proud of the efforts that go into securing scholarship funding, and we celebrate the students, staff, and parents who work hard to make it happen! 💲

Don't miss our last PTO Spirit Night for the 24-25 school year! Stop by O My Boba from 1:30 PM-6:30 PM this coming Thursday to kick off summer with the PTO! 10% of the profits during this time period will go to the PTO.
Students who ordered yearbooks will receive them this coming Monday, May 19th. Forgot to order one? We will have a FEW for sell beginning on Tuesday, May 20th at 9:30 AM in the office. The cost will be $25 and you must have exact change. Check needs to be written to Dixon Road.
