Congratulations to the Women's Tennis Team on a strong showing at the conference tournament! Six Lady Rams competed, with Keira Burggraf and Sunni Johnson advancing to the semifinal round on the second day. Extra congratulations to Sunni Johnson on winning the singles conference tournament championship!
Congratulations to the Women's Golf Team on their 3rd place finish in the Johnston County Schools Championship. Kindel Hill finished in 2nd place. Individually our other two scorers were Hannah Lambert and Adeline Watkins.

10/2/2026 DECA: Monday, October 5th, join Cleveland DECA in our fight against breast cancer. Breast Cancer Awareness bracelet combos will be available for $5 each during lunch and class change in room 358. Bracelets can be purchased with cash or on the school store. All proceeds will go towards the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
The FFA has an in-school meeting October 8th during Ramped Up B! Come out and enjoy some games and time with friends!
The Lady's Cross Country Team won their home meet this past Wednesday, led by Reagan Norman finishing in 1st place. The team is back in action tomorrow morning in Cary!
10/1/2026 Congratulations to our women’s tennis team on an incredible regular season! The Lady Rams finished 1st in the conference and wrapped up the regular season with a 7–2 victory over Clayton on Senior Night!
The Rams swept all six singles matches, with wins from Sunni Johnson, Keira Burgraff, Rachael Almand, Taylor Allen, Wrigley Durovey, and Chiazam Nnani.The doubles matches also fought hard and had several successes by all six seniors.
Postseason events for the team begin on Monday. Way to go Lady Rams!

9/30/2026 The CCP Director, Ms. Haynes, will be at CvHs this Monday, October 5th. If you have questions about CCP, email your school counselor to be added to the list to meet with Ms Haynes. 11th graders: There will be a Governor's School interest meeting on Wednesday, October 7th during Ramped Up B. Governor's School is a summer residential program where students study the arts or academics. Interested? Email Amanda Pardue for more information. Congratulations to the Women's Tennis Team for their win over Smithfield-Selma yesterday. The Lady Rams kicked off this final week of the regular season with 9-0 victory over the Spartans. The tennis team will continue with conference play today at Southeast Raleigh.
9/28/26 Women's Basketball: There will be a Women's basketball interest meeting Friday October 2nd during Ramped Up A in Coach White's room 327. Topics will include a recap of September workouts and a look ahead to tryouts. Sign up in the All Timely app if you are planning to play this year.
9/22/2026 Congratulations to the women's tennis team on their 5-4 win over Garner last night! Several matches came down to tiebreakers, making for an intense night of tennis. Singles victories came from Rachal Almand, Taylor Allen, and Meredith Collins, while key doubles wins came from Rachel Almand and Wrigley Durovey, along with a down-to-the -wire 9-7 win by Taylor Allen and Meredith Collins. Great job, ladies! Attention Art Club Members! If you would like to walk with Art Club in the Homecoming Parade this Thursday, please see Mr. Borum or Mrs. Locklear to pick up a pass.
9/21/26 The October Driver's Education Class begins October the 5th. Sign-ups for the class are open this weekend at bit.ly/clevelanddrivered. Mid year Graduates: Seniors, if you plan to graduate in December, please return your application for mid year graduate form ASAP! Forms are due no later than September 23rd. Ms. Haynes the CCP Director, will be at CVHS next Monday, September 28th. If you have questions about CCP, email your counselor to be added to the list to meet with Ms. Haynes. This is a reminder for all students interested in competing for Miss Cleveland High. If you plan to participate, you need to sign up with Mrs. Parker for Ramped Up B on Tuesday, September 22nd, for our first practice. Contestants should report directly to the auditorium stage at the beginning of Ramped Up B. Again, if you are planning to compete for Miss Cleveland High, make sure you sign up with Mrs. Parker for Ramped Up B on Tuesday. We'll see you on the stage!

Juniors and Seniors: The University of Mount Olive will visit Cleveland High School on Monday, September 21st (from 10:45-11:10 a.m.) in the Student Services Conference room. Stop by Student Services to register or register at bit.ly/cvhsevents. Congratulations to the Women's Tennis Team on their 8-1 win over Fuquay-Varina last night. The Lady Rams battled for several hours in singles play, with key tiebreaker wins from Sunni Johnson, Keira Burgraff, and Meredith Collins helping clinch the victory. With the win, the team is now tied for first place in the conference!
Through the Sports Medicine program, she demonstrates professionalism and dedication while serving student-athletes and coaches. Her service extends to West View and Cleveland Elementary, Zeta Archonettes, and her church through youth ministry and media support.
Aaliyah leads through her actions, consistently encouraging others and making a positive difference. She truly represents the character of a Cleveland Ram and what it means to "Dare to Be Extraordinary!"

DECA: has an interest meeting Thursday September 17th in room 358. Please make sure you sign up in All Timely for Ramped Up B. Please pick a membership application outside of room 358 or 203. Congratulations to the JV and Varsity Boys Soccer Team on their dominate wins at home yesterday. The JV team won 5-0 against South Garner, while the Varsity team won 4-1.
