10/27/25 Cross Country; The cross country team competed in the regional championship this past weekend . Kristian Rodriguez and Lucy Koch both finished in the top ten. Kristian moes on as an individual and the girls move on as a team to the state championship. Way to go ladies! Band: Congrats to the band for winning grand champions at corinth this Saturday.

10/21/25 FFA: The Cleveland FFA Livestock show team competed at the Sate Fair this past weekend. Maci Lowe and Madi McGonagle showed market hogs on Saturday and Sunday. With feeder calf's, Wells Sholar placed 5th, Sam Long placed 3rd and Ayden Capps placed 1st. Congratulations to them all. Coach White: There will be a final Women's Basketball interest meeting on Friday during Ramped Up A. The meeting will consist of final off season point totals, this weeks max out results and details on tryout dates and times next week. Sign up in All Timely for Coach White's room 327 to attend. 10/16/25 Coach Parker: A huge congratulations to the Women's Tennis Team on their 5-2 win over Heritage last night in the 2nd round of the Dual Team Playoffs! This is the first time in program history the team has advanced to the 3rd round of the state playoffs! We also want to wish our top six players the best of luck as they compete tomorrow in the Individual Eastern Regionals. Coach Dudash: The Girl's Cross Country Team finished their Conference runner-ups yesterday at their conference championship race, with all 3 all-conference athletes including freshman Reagan Norman who place 3rd overall. On the boy's side, they also finished with 3 all-conference athletes including the #1 overall place and your individual conference champion, Kristian Rodriguez. Good luck to these athletes as the move on to compete in the regional championship next Saturday. Seniors!! Get excited for College Application Week next week! Many colleges in NC are waiving their application fee which means you can apply for FREE! Stop by the Media Center AFTER you get permission from your teacher, Monday, Thursday or Friday anytime between 1st and 3rd blocks to complete your application with the help from a counselor and get a CRUMBLE COOKIE! Johnston Community College representatives will be in the Media Center on Tuesday from 8am-10am to answer any questions you may have . 10/15/25 The Flag Football team defeated Southeast East Raleigh yesterday, afternoon 12-0, moving to 6-0 on the season. The team was led with a rushing touch down by Samantha Hood and on interception by by Emyiah Herring. The Rams next host SSS here at home next Tuesday, October 21st at 6:00 pm.

10/8/25 The Cleveland High School Band and Colorguard will be hosting a colorguard interest meeting on Friday during Ramped Up B. Coach Parker: Congratulations to the Cleveland women's tennis team on an outstanding performance at the pre-regional tournament! Sunni Johnson, Keira Burggaf, Lacey Morris, Cailyn Monroe, Ella Oliver and Ayla Ferrell have all advanced to the 7A Eastern Regional Tournament-- an incredible accomplishment and a reflection of their hard work and dedication this season. Chorus Announcements: Got a car that needs a good wash? Well, you're in luck! The CvHS Choral Department is hosting a Car Wash Fundraiser this Saturday, October 11th, from 9 am to 1 pm. If you're looking to earn service hours or just want to help out, we're looking for volunteers to join in, wash cars, and support our choir program! If you're interested in volunteering, see Mr. Miller in room 508 for more details and to sign up. Come out have some fun, and help make our car wash and make our car wash a success the cost is $5 for cars and $10 for trucks detailing is available. Join us Tuesday, October 21st for a Fall dinner show/cabaret hosted by the Cleveland High School Choral Department in partnership with the theater department. The dinner will be held from 5:30 to 6:45 pm in the cafeteria with musical entertainment. Our American Pop Forever choral revue will be held in the auditorium at 7:00 pm following dinner featuring the Chorus Show Choir and Glee Club Ensembles. Our theme is " American Pop Forever" A solute to American Popular Music- Celebrating the 50's ,60's, 70's, 80's 90's and now then and forever. We will have dinner from Girabaldi's to include Spaghetti, Fettuccini Alfredo, salad and dessert. The cost of the event is as follows: $20 dinner ages 13 through adult- includes meal and admission to show. $10 ages 3-12 years old includes meal and admission to show. Children 3 and under are free. $5 admission to concert portion only. Tickets can be purchased via simple tix and by scanning the QR code on the event flyer. There will be no walk-in orders. Attendees must RSVP. Admission for the American Pop Forever at 7pm in the auditorium will be available.
