9/4/2026 We are excited to announce two incredible career opportunities where you can gain hands on experience and earn college credit: The Electric Lineman Pre-Apprenticeship for high school seniors and the Caterpillar Pre- Apprenticeship for juniors. Applications for the Lineman program are due by September 11th. If you are interested, please stop by Student Services or email Megan Cox for more information! FFA is having their first in-school meeting next Thursday September 10th, during Ramped Up B in the cafeteria. No dues need to be made to attend, so make sure to sign up in all timely! Attention Freshmen! Are you interested in getting involved, representing your classmates, and helping make a difference at our school? We are looking for students who are interested in joining the Freshmen Student Council! There will be an interest Meeting on September 11th during Ramped Up A in room 357. Come learn more about Student Council, how you can get involved, and how you can help represent the freshman class. If you're interested, scan the QR code on the Freshmen Student Council posters around the school and complete the interest form. Your voice. Your ideas. Your school. We hope to see you there! The Miss Cleveland High Pageant will be held on Friday, November 21st, and scholarships are awarded to some contestants! There will be mandatory interest meetings during Ramped Up B on Wednesday, September 10th, and Thursday, September 11th, in Mrs. Parker's room 324. Potential contestants need to attend ONE of these meetings. Congratulations to the JV and Varsity Volleyball teams on their wins last night over Garner High School!
9/2/2026 Deputy Fuentes: Reminder: Towing will be enforced! After several complaints, your vehicle will be towed at your expense of $250.00. Seniors with Early Release are also expected to pay for their parking. Congratulations to the women's tennis for their 9-0 win over Clayton last night ! Despite ridiculous temperatures and the latest match start time in school history, the Lady Rams came out ready to play. The team will have a brief respite from conference play next week as they take on Wilson Fike on Wednesday.
During the July 14th regular scheduled meeting, the JC Board of Education approved revisions to Policy Code 4304: Code of Student Conduct.
There was special attention to Section F. 36, which provides governance for the "Possession, Display, Use, Sale or Distribution of Vapes".
Revisions define vapes and expresses that there will be a 10-day suspension for any student in violation of the code.
We strongly encourage parents to speak with your child(ren) regarding the details of the policy and the consequences moving forward.
Please know that the Johnston County Board of Education strives to mitigate health and safety concerns related to harmful substances such as tobacco products and/or vapes. The revised verbiage and the associated penalties have been set to achieve this goal.

9/1/2026 Coach White: Women's Basketball workouts start tonight at 5pm in the weight room. Workouts will be every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 5-7pm. Make sure you have signed up in Final Forms and have an active physical on file. Congratulation to the Varsity and Jv Football Teams for their win over Corinth Holder. Both teams play Northern Nash this week. Congratulations to the Women's Tennis Team for their decisive 9-0 victory over Smithfield- Selma yesterday. Every player won their individual matches by either an 8-1 or 8-0 score. The Lady Rams face Clayton at home on Wednesday.
