Our final exam schedule is now posted on our school website .
Exams will be given the week of December 16. If you would like for your child to be able to leave early each day after exams, you will need to send a signed note each day that you would like for the student to be able to leave. The note must be signed and dated with a parent phone number included. This note will be the student’s pass out of the building.
If your student has been absent from school and you would like the absence to be excused, you must send a note stating the reason for the absence. If students are absent next week, these absences can affect exam exemption status. If your child is absent, please send a note with the reason for the absence.
If you have any questions, please contact our front office

"Throughout my career, I have learned that education is an intensely human business. We are in the business of people." - Melissa Hurst
As we close out #NationalPrincipalsMonth, our final honoree is Melissa Hurst and JCPS 2024-2025 Principal of the Year!!! 👏👏👏
In her first year as principal of Corinth Holders High, she is no stranger to success. For the last six years as the principal of Princeton Elementary, she has built an environment rich for learning.
Under her leadership during the 2023-24 school year, the students and staff improved their School Performance Grade from a C to a B, were ranked in the top 15% in North Carolina for academic growth, and exceeded growth for the third consecutive year. As principal of Princeton Elementary, the school’s performance composite increased from 53.1% to 64.6%.
Congratulations Ms. Hurst!
We know you will continue to lead with empathy. ❤
