The deadline to complete the Family-School Relationships Survey is April 2nd.
We will be surveying JCPS families in order to gain insight into your perception of our school and district effectiveness. To ensure we continue to provide high quality, rigorous learning experiences that meet the needs of our learners and prepare them for college and career, we need your feedback.
You may complete the survey online using a computer, tablet, or smartphone here: https://bit.ly/3O00dFq
We thank you in advance for your thoughtful responses. If you have any questions about the survey administration, please contact your child’s school.

👏 We’re grateful for opportunities that build real-life skills and support healthy choices for our Pirates! 💜

All-County choral students from four JCPS middle schools performed pieces including Deep River, The Little Creek, and the Latin piece Dies Irae. The conductor was Andrew Revels, accompanied by pianist Tracy Finch.
There was also amazing artwork from Swift Creek Middle and McGee’ Crossroads Middle students displayed in the lobby of Corinth Holders High.
Thank you to the choral directors, art teachers, and the entire JCPS Fine Arts Department for this extraordinary evening!

🌟 So much to celebrate! Our Pirates continue to shine in academics, athletics, and extracurricular activities. Be sure to check out this week’s recognitions and celebrations.

💬 Message from Town of Clayton and Clayton PD- In partnership with the Town of Clayton and the Clayton Police Department, we are sharing this message in an effort to keep all of our students safe.
Recently, there have been several incidents involving students from Clayton-area schools planning to meet at Town of Clayton facilities. At these gatherings, some students have engaged in fighting and other illegal and dangerous activities.
We are sharing this message in hopes that you will speak with your student(s) about the serious risks and consequences of this behavior. Our shared goal is to keep all students and citizens safe and to ensure that everyone can continue to enjoy the town’s facilities.
Please be aware that anyone found engaging in illegal activities on town property may face criminal charges and/or be banned from Town of Clayton facilities.

Due to the forecast of inclement weather, the associated high wind and the uncertain timing, Johnston County Public Schools will be closed for all students on Monday, March 16, 2026, as well as all extracurricular activities. The district will operate under Condition 3 of the inclement weather plan.
Based on the guidance issued by local safety officials, the forecasted high winds will present hazardous travel for our school buses and potentially cause property damage.
We thank you for your patience and understanding during this weather event.
Have a great evening!

Please join us in celebrating our Pirates of the Month who have been recognized for embodying these traits and making a positive impact in our school community.
💜💛 Congratulations to this month’s Pirates! We are proud of the example you set for others.
