📘 A few important highlights:
📝 Teacher-made exams begin Monday and Tuesday, and state testing will begin on Wednesday and continue through next week. All students are expected to attend school on Monday and Tuesday, regardless of whether they are exempt from teacher- made exams or not. Please review the full exam schedule, test day expectations, and early release procedures shared in the newsletter.
📅 Notes to Leave during Exam Week- Parent notes for early dismissals during exam days must include the student’s name, parent signature, and phone number.
🎓 Graduation is next week! Seniors and families should carefully review all graduation information, rehearsal expectations, and event reminders included in the newsletter.

Class of 2027 - Cap & Gown Preparation - STEP 1 OF 2
STEP 1: Please complete the following information to help us prepare the correct number of cap & gown sizes needed for your school's graduation. THIS IS NOT YOUR CAP & GOWN ORDER (see step 2)
STEP 2: You will receive a graduation ordering packet during a senior meeting at school in September with details on how to order and pay for cap and gown and other senior items.

Today, we had 22 middle and high school teams representing JCPS, and our Special Olympics athletes made the day unforgettable! They led the day from start to finish with determination, lots of energy, and incredible support for one another.
We are so grateful for Special Olympics Johnston County, our Special Olympics athletes, JCPS staff, volunteers, and families who made the Spring Games amazing!

📝 AP Testing and Exams are quickly approaching.The exam schedule is now posted. Please help us reinforce the importance of attendance, preparation, and finishing strong. Students should be using Pirate Time intentionally to review, complete missing work, and get extra support.
📅 Attendance Matters: If your student has attendance notes to turn in, now is the time. Notes must be submitted by May 1 in order to be considered for exam exemptions.
💻 CCP Registration Deadline is April 27. Students interested in Career & College Promise should be sure to meet all requirements before the deadline listed in the newsletter.
🎟️ Graduation Ticket Raffle: Be sure to check out the graduation ticket raffle sponsored by Pirate Parents Give Back—details are included in the newsletter.
