Here are a few important updates as we head into a new week:
📌 Homecoming Week – This week is Homecoming at CHHS! We’ll celebrate with spirit days, a parade, a pep rally, and of course, Friday night’s big game. We encourage all students to join in the spirit and show their Pirate pride throughout the week.
On Friday, we kindly ask that families limit pick-ups between 12:00–2:00 PM to emergencies only.
12:00–12:45 PM: No student pick-up will be available, as the front drive will be closed for the parade.
12:00–2:00 PM: Student pick-up will be very limited. Students will be participating in the parade and pep rally and will not be in class.
Any pick-ups during the pep rally will require students to be called over the loudspeaker, which is disruptive to the event.
📌 Attendance Reminder – Students who check out early must come to the attendance office before leaving. Parents sending in notes should clearly include your student’s first and last name. Educational leave forms can be found on our school website.
📌 Electronic Use Policy – As always, phones and personal devices must remain put away from bell to bell, except during lunch. Cell phones should never be out in the hallways.

We had a solid turnout for our first-ever Academic Success Night at CHHS! 📚✨ Parents and students in grades 9–11 joined us to learn about GPA, course planning, Pirate Time, clubs, and the top factors in college admissions.
We are proud of the engagement and commitment our families showed as we work together to prepare every Pirate for success in high school, college, and beyond. 💜🏴☠️💛
Special thanks to Rodney Allred and our Student Services team for making this night possible.
