
Congratulations to Coach Kristian Stewart!
On May 5, JCPS hosted the Spring Special Recognition Celebration at CHHS. More than 400 students and staff members were recognized for academic, athletic, extracurricular, and professional achievements.
Coach Stewart was recognized as the JCPS High School Coach of the Year. He previously was awarded the Greater Neuse River 4A Conference Wrestling Coach of the Year 2024-2025.

Registration closes May 9th for the Johnston Leaders at Work Summer Teamship, a partnership with District C. Spots are limited. The JCPS CTE program will provide a $200 stipend to fully participating students.

Mrs. Mabalos's class recently put their artistic talents to work and completed these beautiful art projects. Using recyclable materials, students created baskets, potholders, and t-shirts. Wonderful job Pirates!!


On April 24, the Corinth Holders High School National Honor Society held an Induction Ceremony, add 52 new members to its club roster. Following the ceremony, student attendees and parents were invited to a small reception in celebration of the achievement.


On April 25, CHHS students, teachers, and parent volunteers travelled to Smithfield Selma High School to participate in a full day of athletic events in celebration of the 2025 Special Olympics. We are so proud of these Pirates!!

Johnston County Public Schools hosted its 31st annual Flame For Learning Awards celebration this evening, naming William Marshall as the 2025 Teacher of the Year! Marshall, a teacher and alumnus of West Johnston Wildcats, was one of four finalists, which included Heather Bryant of Clayton High School, Lois D'Agostino of West View Elementary, and Brooke Hayward of Riverwood Elementary School.
