Johnston County Public Schools hosted its 31st annual Flame For Learning Awards celebration this evening, naming William Marshall as the 2025 Teacher of the Year! Marshall, a teacher and alumnus of West Johnston Wildcats, was one of four finalists, which included Heather Bryant of Clayton High School, Lois D'Agostino of West View Elementary, and Brooke Hayward of Riverwood Elementary School. They include: President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Volunteer Coordinator, Fundraising Chair Committee, and Member At Large. The deadline to submit nominations is April 8, 2025 at 6pm. To submit a nomination, you must email Dr. Ewell (ryanewell@johnston.k12.nc.us) with the position you would like to be considered for as well as a brief summary about yourself. You must also be present at the PTA meeting. Voting will take place at the end of this meeting. We look forward to seeing everyone there!
