We hope Mr. Igor had a great National Principal's Month! We are grateful for your leadership at Cleveland Elementary!

Make up pictures are next Tuesday, November 4th. If you received pictures and want a retake, please bring your packet of pictures so a new packet will get printed with the retakes.

Check out the brand new retaining wall for our basketball court! Aaron Hershberger, dad of 3rd grader Reid Hershberger, and Gavin Ripley, dad of 5th grader Keira Ripley, donated their own supplies, time, and muscle to build this retaining wall over the weekend. We are really hopeful that it helps with the sand run-off from the hill so that our students can enjoy the basketball court. We are so appreciative of our amazing parents at CvES!

The deadline for the science fair is fast approaching-December 12th! We are encouraging 3rd through 5th grade students to do an experiment at home and put their results on a poster to present on January 15th. These will be judges and prizes given for 1st-3rd place in each grade level as well as People's Choice, Most Creative and Best Visual Appeal. Students may work together on a project. Here is a link with more details. Scan the QR code to sign up! If you have any questions please email Mrs. Matthews, allisonmatthews@johnston.k12.nc.us

We look forward to seeing everyone at our Trunk or Treat event tonight from 5-7 pm. Please be mindful that the event is held in the bus parking lot, so parking will be in the front parking lot and the back grass parking lot.
