Families, we are bringing back the science fair to Cleveland Elementary! On STEM night in January, students in 3rd through 5th grades will display their science fair projects. The deadline for the science fair is fast approaching-December 12th! We are encouraging 3rd through 5th grade students to do an experiment at home and put their results on a poster to present on January 15th. These will be judges and prizes given for 1st-3rd place in each grade level as well as People's Choice, Most Creative and Best Visual Appeal. Students may work together on a project. Check out the brand new retaining wall for our basketball court! Aaron Hershberger, dad of 3rd grader Reid Hershberger, and Gavin Ripley, dad of 5th grader Keira Ripley, donated their own supplies, time, and muscle to build this retaining wall over the weekend. We are really hopeful that it helps with the sand run-off from the hill so that our students can enjoy the basketball court. We are so appreciative of our amazing parents at CvES!
