Johnston County Public Schools board members and senior leadership hosted the Spring Legislative Breakfast this morning. During the meeting JCPS met with local legislators and government leaders this morning to discuss various topics, to include: opportunity scholarship, per pupil ratio funding, teacher and principal pay, new school performance grade A-F model, the low wealth status of the district, and more. We are extremely thankful for all the leaders who joined us and continue to support the educational goals of JCPS!

The 2024 Flame for Learning Award ceremony was an outstanding event that brought together educators, stakeholders, and business partners in a unified effort to support education. It was a truly remarkable experience that expressed our appreciation for the hard work of those who are committed to enriching the lives of students around the world. We extend our sincere gratitude to not only the 20 semifinalists but every JCPS educator.
