Good evening, Kindergarten families! This is your Principal, Lauren Sabo, with a reminder about Open House tomorrow night. We will open doors for entry at 5pm, and classroom sessions will begin soon after. Teachers will be sharing lots of information with you about the classrooms and school procedures. If you are unsure of your child's teacher, please come to the school and we can help you. From 6pm-6:30pm, we will host a family session in the cafeteria with administrators. We will be discussing ways to be involved in the school community. We can't wait to see you tomorrow night!

On Tuesday, the 2nd grade Ceremony will be at 9:30am. We will celebrate our EOG rewards for 3-5 students in the afternoon with a dunk tank and an EOG dance for the effort and perseverance they showed.
On Wednesday, the 4th grade Ceremony will be at 9:30am, and the 3rd grade ceremony is at 2pm.

Following ceremonies, all students will be checked out from classrooms if you want them to leave early.
Thursday is the last day of school for the year. We will be sending home report cards with students, and we will follow an early release schedule and dismiss at 1:55pm. Please be sure that you check the lost and found for any materials belonging to your student as they will be discarded this summer.
On Friday, buses will run a regular schedule for grades 3-5 students who signed up for EOG remediation and retesting. Check your child's report card envelope for information about retesting dates.
Have a wonderful weekend!
Attention 5th grade parents--tonight is the 5th grade dance from 5:30-7:30. Students can be dropped off and picked up through carpool. If your child does not have a ticket, walk in with your child to purchase and sign a permission form. Please arrive no later than 7:30.
Tomorrow will be the PTA's last Spirit Night of the year. Dine at Red Robin at White Oak to support our school. You can dine all day, but you must take the flyer or mention the fundraiser.

Welcome back, Explorers! SGA is excited to host Student Appreciation Week! See the flyer for details.

Good evening, Explorer families! I hope you have enjoyed the weekend. This week we will come together to showcase our learning this year. Grades 3-5 students will take the Reading and Math EOGs, and our full school will support them with our EOG spirit week. Please listen closely for details:
On Monday, our students will Rock the Test! Please wear musician or music inspired clothing.
On Tuesday, we will have Hats Off to Success with a school-wide hat day.
On Wednesday, we will support our students with a school-wide "prep rally!" Please wear your Explorer Experience team shirts.
On Thursday, we will Sock it to the Test by wearing crazy socks with Crocs! Students will take the Reading EOG.
On Friday, we will Be a Smarty Pants! Wear pajama or colorful pants!
On the days of EOGs, we need students at school by 8:55am. Late students will not be permitted to enter testing sessions once they begin. We encourage everyone to eat a hearty breakfast or get one for free from our school cafeteria.
We also will not able to dismiss students from testing sessions, which will run until 12:30pm.
On the days of testing, k-2 students will eat lunch in the classrooms, so we will not be able to accommodate families to come and eat lunch on those days. Thank you for understanding.
We are so excited to show everyone just how hard our Explorers have worked this year! Thank you for your support in these efforts!
