The Cleveland FFA chapter was awarded for their 6 first place teams this year along with their numerous other placings. Also congratulations to Susannah Piatek and Gavin Bledsoe for being elected as Federation officers.

5/2 Announcements: Project Emotional Wellness will be holding a meeting during C lunch in room 216. Please sign up in Ramped up under '' Project Emotional Wellness''.The JV baseball team beat South Garner yesterday 15-5. Collin Blackmon led the way with 3 hits ( including a triple) and drove in 4 runs. Drew Jordan was the winning pitcher, and Paul Riccio did a good job pitching as well. The Rams final game of the season is tomorrow at home against South Garner. Attention all BSU members this is your reminder to sign- up for Mrs Locklears after school Medicine- wheel workshop Monday , May 13th in room 310 after school. Check your email for the voting form. Congratulations to the Rams track teams for their outstanding performaces at the Conference Championship Meet this week. The boys finished 1st winning their 11th consecutive conference championship! The girls outperformed their predicted score finishing in a close 2nd place. Individual conference champions include: Addie Thunnell in pole vault T-nell. The 4x4 relay of Ana Toy, Maddie Smith, Dekyjah Middleton and Landry Lee. Cooper Thomas in pole vault and the 4x1 and 4x2 relays of Josh McMillian, Shawn Williams, Jordan Gulley and Ronalon Renwick.

4/30 Announcements: Attention seniors the second round of cap and gowns are in the front office. The JV baseball team beat North Johnston yesterday 2-1. Henry Blackman and Colson Shipwash each drove in a run at the plate. Zach Miller was the winning pitcher with 7 strikeouts over 6 innings. Gavin Jackson finished the game on the mount with 2 strikeouts. The Rams are back in action on Wednesday @ South Garner. Staff all receipt books need to be brought to Mrs. McLamb as soon as possible. We must have every receipt book accounted for even if you have not issued receipts out of the book.

The JV Baseball Team beat Garner last night 5-2. Colson Shipwash hit a double in the 1st inning, holding Garner to 2 runs. Jack Resner drove in the other2 runs with a base hit in the 1st as well. The Rams play on Monday at Johnston.

4/24 The Varsity Softball team picked up a 4-3 victory over Corinth Holders in nine innings last night. Karsyn Hudacky and Kendal Gaunt hit home runs in the contest. With two outs in the bottom of the seventh Sadie Johnston got a base hit to tie the game. Karsyn Hudacky was the winning pitcher. The Lady Rams will travel to Willow Springs tomorrow.

4/24 Announcements: 9th and 10th grade students eligible to participate at Thursday's field day have received an email and will be given a pass by your 1st block teacher. The Varsity Softball team picked up a 5-4 victory over Fuquay on Friday night. Karsyn Hudacky got the Lady Rams on the board first with a solo homeroom in the bottom of the 1st. Maddie Murphy would drive in Avery Morgan later that inning to put the Lady Rams up 2 to 0. In the bottom of the 7th with two outs Kendall Gaunt would hit an in the park home run to the contest. Pinch hitter Izzy Sholar hit the 1st pitch she saw out of the ball park to win the game. Karsyn Hudacky was the winning pitcher with six strikeouts at Lani Pennica got the the save. The Lady Rams travel to Corinth tomorrow.

JCPS and JCC partnered today to host a FAFSA event at Cleveland High! The event provided approximately 30 students with an opportunity to receive in-person assistance while completing the FAFSA paperwork. Cleveland High Senior Hao Xian Kuang was one of the many students to attend the event and complete his paperwork. The UNCW hopeful was fortunate to share his story with our media partners from Spectrum News. Be on the lookout for that media coverage today at 5 PM!

4/18 Announcements : Don't forget to wear your purple tomorrow for the Month of the Military child if you aren't wearing your Special Olympics shirt. Are you a 9th or 10th grade student who passed last quarter with a B or higher in all four of your classes? If so, you are eligible for next week's Field Day during Ramped Up. Celebrate your successful 3rd quarter with inflatables, snow cones,games and more next Thursday, April 25th. Eligible students will be notified through their email. The Lady Rams Soccer Team picked up a 3-0 win over Garner last night. Goals were scored by Jenna Messer and Madi McGonagle. Their next game is Friday @ Southeast Raleigh! Seniors don't forget to pick up a permission slip for the field trip to Carowinds. You can get a permission slip from Ms Johnston room 306, Ms Pearce room 226 or Ms Daughtry room 611. The JV softball team picked up a 12 to 0 victory over Clayton @ home yesterday, Emma Colton pitched the shut out for the Lady Rams. The Varsity softball team picked up an 11to 1 victory over Clayton yesterday. Lani Pennica was the winning pitcher. Sadie Johnston led the Lady Rams with 3 hits.
