Cooper Academy was recognized at the NCDPI AIM Conference in Raleigh on October 9, 2024 as being one of the top ReStart Schools in North Carolina for "Academic Gain" due to the significant increases we've seen in our student achievement data. When comparing student performance composite data from 2019 (pre-Covid) to 2024 our school has increased our EOG Composite Performance by 21%. Our Reading EOG scores have increased by 12.4%; Math scores have increased by 30.9%; and Science scores have increased by 18.9%. It takes fantastic teachers/staff and our entire school community working together to see this type of positive change. We appreciate your support!

In a few hours, these supplies will be transported to Western North Carolina. Thank you to the many, many students, parents, and staff who have responded promptly and compassionately. Also, a special thanks to Johnston County Government and the Johnston County Sheriff's Office for allowing us to partner with you in this effort. 🤝
