How do you practice relative and absolute locations? If you are in Mr. Evan's second grade class, you make a map of your classroom and describe where everything is at. Real life practice!

We are having so much fun at Corinth-Holders Elementary this October, and we can't believe it is already halfway over! I just wanted to check in with parents on the topic of the month: RESPECT. This character trait is a major focus in October as we continue to adjust to the classroom dynamics of the new school year. Attached to this message, you will find a few resources to help continue the conversation about RESPECT at home, as well as a few community resources. Please help your child remember that RESPECT for self, others, and property is a part of our daily Pirate Pledge so that we can most enthusiastically hone in on how to be a buddy, not a bully! Have a great rest of your week, Ms. Morton, School Counselor

Thousands of supplies. Hundreds of donors. One common goal…helping those in their time of need. ❤ Today our Facility Services team gathered supplies from our schools, which were Hurricane Helene Relief donation sites. In a few hours, these supplies will be transported to Western North Carolina. Thank you to the many, many students, parents, and staff who have responded promptly and compassionately. Also, a special thanks to Johnston County Government and the Johnston County Sheriff's Office for allowing us to partner with you in this effort. 🤝
