Fire Prevention Week runs from October 8 - 14. 👩‍🚒👨‍🚒 This week is dedicated to teaching children and adults how to stay safe in the event of a fire. Make an escape plan with your family and practice that plan so you are ready in the event of a fire.

Dr. Angela Hill, principal of Dixon Road Elementary is our next #NationalPrincipalsMonth recognition! Not only is Dr. Hill a passionate and results-driven school leader, she brings more than 20 years of experience into her first year at Dixon Road Elementary. Ms. Proctor is in her first year as principal at North Johnston High, but is no stranger to JCPS. When she was asked to fill role of principal, she was both honored and humbled. October is National Dropout Prevention Month.👨‍🎓👩‍🎓 Johnston County Public Schools graduation rate for the Class of 2023 was 91.6%, well above the state average of 86.4%.
