It differs around the world .🌎 Poland = Orange school buses Mexico = schools can choose their colors Japan = Often yellow but shaped like whimsical cartoon characters In 1939, "The Father of the Yellow School Bus" Frank W. Cyr, a professor at Columbia University, held a conference on school bus standards including body color. The color is called "National School Bus Glossy Yellow". In North Carolina, one law requires that drivers must stop for school buses with flashing red lights or extended stop signs. Failure to stop can result in a $500 fine plus a 5-point penalty on your driver's license 😓, so keep your head up and eyes peeled! #LoveTheBusWeek2025
