    • Flame For Learning

      The trojan family would like to congratulate Lindsey Dotzel and Kelly Bradshaw as they represented SJHS as one of the top 20 semifinalist for the Flame for Learning award last night. Kelly Bradshaw was selected as a finalist for the award. Great Job ladies!

    • Men's Tennis Tied For Second

      Congratulations to the men's tennis team for finshing the season with a 9-3 record. They tied for 2nd in the conference and will play West Johnston on Friday afternoon to break the tie.

    • SJ Announces Summer Camps

      South Johnston has announced the dates for their summer camps. The camps that will be offered are: Baseball Camp - June 18-21, Softball Camp - June 25-28, Basketball Camp - July 9-11, Cheer Camp - July 23-25, Soccer Camp - July 23-26, and Volleyball Camp - August 6-8. Brochures will be available soon for additional information.

    • Dotzel & Bradshaw are Flame For Learning Semi-Finalists

      Lindsey Dotzel, English Teacher and Kelly Bradshaw, Math Teacher at South Johnston were both nominated as Flame for Learning. South Johnston is proud to announce they are both semi-finalists and in the top 20 for Johnston County Schools. Best wish to both of them as they move forward in their pursuit for Johnston County Public School's Teacher of the Year.

    • Massengill Crowned 31st Miss SJHS 2018

      Karson Massengill, a Sophomore at South Johnston High School was crowned the 31st Miss South Johnston High School 2018. Other awards went to: Anna Smith (Talent & 1st Runner-Up), Callie Jon Massengill (2nd Runner-Up) and Lexi Barefoot (Sponsorship). Congratulations to all contestants for an incredible representation of our SJHS students.

    • Week of Unity Assembly

      South Johnston High School students and faculty participated in a student led assembly on March 15, 2018. It was held in remembrance of the seventeen people who were victims of a shooting at Centralia High School in Florida.

    • Eleven Vie for Miss SJHS

      The 31st Annual Miss South Johnston High School 2018 Pageant will be held on Saturday, March 17th. It will be held in the auditorium and will begin at 7:00.
