    • River Dell Talks Safety

A school can never be too prepared because you never know when something could happen. That was the consensus after a crisis response training that River Dell Elementary had for their staff on a teacher work day at the end of the year. Principal Chad Jewett participated in an active shooter scenario organized by Johnston County Public Schools in May for all administrators, and afterwards he wanted to share out this important information with his staff. He worked with JCPS officials and professionals from emergency services to be able to provide this for stakeholders, including parent volunteers, at River Dell.
