What are your hopes and aspirations for our school district? That’s the question that Johnston County Public Schools is hoping you can help answer as we launch our strategic planning process to chart the course for our school district over the next five years.
Over the next eight months, JCPS is partnering with RTI International’s Center for Education Services to create a strategic plan that reflects the needs and goals of our students, families, and community.
With that in mind, we’re asking students, JCPS educators and staff, parents/guardians, and other community members to complete an online questionnaire around what’s next for our schools and district. Please take 3 minutes to complete this brief, anonymous questionnaire to provide your insight on the district’s future direction and priorities.
Your voice will be instrumental in establishing the direction for our district. Thank you for your participation and commitment to a great Johnston County Public Schools!

Ms. Barnes is in her 7th year as a Bulldog, and has worked hard to create a welcoming community at her school. Clearly, it has paid off because her students, staff, and families absolutely love her! And so do we!!!

We are excited to invite our families of 1st-5th grade students in for Student-Led Conferences on October 31, 2023. We have spaced it out to provided some relief for our parking lot but want you to be able to come talk with your children about all they are learning.
Forget it was picture day? That's okay! You can still send in money and/or order pictures online.
The district is aware of a connectivity issue with Rooms. Teachers may not be able to receive messages at this time. We will let you know when the issue is resolved.
This is a reminder that tomorrow is Picture Day and the start of Red Ribbon Week as we LEAD the fight against drugs!

Bus 755 will be late again this afternoon. Bus 611 will take students home after she completes her first two routes. Bus 755 students will be approximately one hour late.
Good Evening Bulldogs,
I wanted to send out a few quick reminders that will help us make sure that our arrival process is as safe and effective as possible. Students may enter the building starting at 8:25 am. Please do not drop students off prior to the bell ringing and adults being present to welcome them. Please use our two car rider lines for morning drop off. It has been brought to my attention that a good number of parents are parking in our parking spots and then walking students to the sidewalks. With so many cars moving at a time, it's really important to limit parking lot foot traffic as much as possible. We also need these parking spots for our teachers so that they can get in and be ready to welcome your children each morning. Lastly, if your child plans to eat breakfast in the cafeteria, it's important that they arrive no later than 8:45. Our tardy bell rings at 8:55 and class begins! We don't want students missing out on important instruction or starting their day off feeling rushed. We appreciate your help in these matters.
