Good evening, Princeton Elementary School Families.
End of Grade testing starts tomorrow for students in Grades 3-5.
Please make sure your student gets a good night’s sleep and a healthy breakfast. School breakfast is currently free for all students.
Please make sure your student is present and on time for school. Students perform better when they are able to test with their class and not in a make-up testing session. Students who arrive after the test has started will need to attend a make-up testing session.
Scores will be shared with parents on Thursday, May 30 after all testing is complete.
Our students and teachers have worked hard to prepare, and we know they are ready to do their best. We appreciate your support, and we look forward to celebrating our students’ growth!
Have a great night, Bulldogs!

End of grade testing starts for our 3rd, 4th and 5th graders next week, so as a school we want to encourage and support our Bulldogs with a few spirit days. #peswheregreatthingsgrow
We will start this Thursday with COOL day where we will wear shades and blue to show we are calm, cool and collected for testing.

Attention 4th and 2nd grade families.
Due to the rain we will reschedule field day for these students.
The make up day will be Friday, May 31.
Are you a Level 2 volunteer? Are you available to volunteer on Friday??
We would love to have some more parents to help with lunch supervision so our teachers can enjoy their Teacher Appreciation Week Luncheon.
Please call the front office if you are available and can help. Lunches run from 10:45-1:15.
Thank you!
Good morning PES families.

Sarah Crews is the next April 2024 Character Education Award Recipient!
Crews is in the fifth grade at Princeton Elementary, and was recognized for her dependability as a student and as an individual. She is a valuable member of the flag team, Battle of the Books and Science Olympiad.
To be dependable means to be trustworthy and reliable, Sarah exemplifies this daily through her actions, even when no one is watching.
Keep up the good work!👍

Dates will be announced soon.

Last night, JCPS celebrated the 2024 Leading with the Heart recipients!💝
The event, inspired by Mike Krzyzewski’s book, “Leading with the Heart,” recognizes those staff members throughout the school system that demonstrate leadership, compassion, and heart on a daily basis. One person from every school as well as central services was nominated by their peers, because of their unwavering commitment and dedication to their role.
We honor the 53 amazing members of the JCPS family for their work that clearly does not go unnoticed! Thank you!✨
Stay tuned for an event recap video...

Join us in congratulating our First Year Teacher of the Year, Ms. Amy Mitchell. 🎉 Ms. Mitchell is a 5th grade Language Arts teacher. She has been part of the Bulldog staff for a few years now holding different roles. She has been an instructional assistant, worked the front desk, and been a long term substitute. We are so thankful Ms. Mitchell chose to start her teaching career with us as she was already a huge part of our family. #peswheregreatthingsgrow 💙💛 Well deserved honor Ms. Mitchell!

Going into the 4th quarter of ReadBowl, Princeton Elementary has already logged over a million minutes read! 🎉
We can't wait to see what numbers are logged on Monday--get in those minutes this weekend! Congratulations to Ms. Patelos' class for making it to the leaderboard again in quarter 3 📚
Next week we will share our school winners and hopefully hear one of our classrooms announced on Super Bowl Sunday! #peswheregreatthingsgrow
Don't forget that breakfast and lunch is free for all our students every day this year 🍕🍔🌮🌭

Next week on February 9th we will celebrate the 100th day of school! 💯
Our teachers are planning fun activities in the classroom and we would like to invite our students (and staff) to dress up to celebrate the day. 🎉
Next Friday, February 9th let's show off our creativity to express 100! You might dress 100 years old, wear a shirt with a hundred things or just pull out the brightest clothes you have to show how much you have learned in 100 days.
We can't wait to see what our students (and staff!) come up with!
