This is a reminder to come out to Pelican's Snoballs tonight from 4 - 8pm for our last Spirit Night of the school year. This is a great way to relax and get ready for EOG testing which begins tomorrow. Please make sure everyone gets a good night's rest and comes in ready to do your best! You've got this!

Gustavo is extremely dedicated to learning English. He is new to our school and our country and he works very hard each day to acquire the English language. Gustavo spends a lot of time practicing and is very eager to learn. I am amazed at how well he is learning the language, especially his writing skills. This is a reminder that tonight, Monday, May 13th is our Spring Chorus Concert, Multicultural Night and Art Showcase. Please join us from 5:30 pm - 7 pm for tonight's events.

Aiden is a kind friend to his classmates and goes out of his way to help others. During our reading rotations, Aiden chose to partner himself with a peer that has very special needs and often needs a teacher to help him in the classroom. Aiden welcomed this friend and he helped him the entire time moving from station to station, asking him questions to get to know him, built play-doh, and drew pictures together. Aiden enjoyed his time with his new friend and looks forward to playing together again. Aiden embodies the core value of inclusivity and welcomes friends that are different than him. #PumaOfTheWeek #PassionatePumas
