Friday, September 22 is a Required County Workday for Teachers. Students will not report to school on that day. Please make time to get caught up your reading or on any work you may be missing.

Come on out to SSS Saturday at 6:30PM and support the Marching Panthers as they represent our school at the Johnston County Expo. They will be performing their show, "Emotions of Red," at 7:00 PM. While there, be sure to come by and encourage the band after the show as well!

Battle of the Books is a quiz-bowl competition where students read books and compete against other high schools across our county. If you love reading and think you have what it takes, join us! Sign up with Ms. Nichols in the Media Center this week or use the following link to sign up here, https://forms.gle/J3jtBVdnnCMpUvVX7.

All students interested in participating on the NJHS competitive swimming team should see Coach Poole today to get on the sign up list. Serious inquiries only. Being a member includes swim practices at the SRAC on week nights and multiple swim meets on Saturdays. See Coach Poole in the front lobby of the Old gym near the doors to the science hall.

Students parking at school: The band could really use your help when you arrive. Please do not park in the spots at the back of senior parking where the orange lines are located.
