Our school would like to say a big THANK YOU for supporting our spring book fair! We were able to raise funds to help us purchase new and exciting books and materials to help support our school library program!
Did you know that graduation rates and test scores in reading and math were significantly higher in schools with high-quality libraries and certified librarians, even after controlling for school size and poverty.*
So again, thank you for helping us support our school community!

Mark your calendars! The end of the year is quickly approaching and our students can't wait to "show" you all the wonderful things they have accomplished this year! The book fair will be open beginning at 4:30 followed by a brief PTA meeting at 5:45 to share updates on fundraisers and exciting things that they have done for our school, staff and students! After the meeting, families will visit classrooms to check out the awesome work of our teachers and students! The book fair will remain open until 7:00. Hello Families! Our school is fortunate enough to have a clothes closet in the event a student is in need of a change of clothes. We have more than enough shirts but we are in desperate need of pants. As the weather is warming up and you begin to go through clothing items, our closet would be extremely grateful for any pants or shorts that you no longer need. Below are the specific genders/sizes needed.
Girls Size 5 - 14
Boys Size 5 - 14
If you feel so led, we are also in need of donations of new packs of underwear and flushable wet wipes. Please turn in to the front office staff and they will get the items to our counselor or Mrs. Penny.

Good evening Micro Families & Community,
This is Dr. B with an update about our Annual Cow Patty Bingo Fundraiser Event. As you know, we had to reschedule this event due to inclement weather prior to the Spring Break and Easter Holiday. We wanted to let you know that our cow is ready to go and we will bring Ol' Bessie out tomorrow morning bright and early at 8 AM to do her business. We will update you all on the winners of this event....all dependent on where Ol' Bessie makes "her messy." Stay tuned to hear who our lucky winners are and thank you to all who helped make this fundraiser one of our MOST successful yet. Winners will be announced and contacted tomorrow. We hope you are all enjoying the Spring Break and the rest and peace it brings.
