Last night, JCPS celebrated the 2024 Leading with the Heart recipients!💝 The event, inspired by Mike Krzyzewski’s book, “Leading with the Heart,” recognizes those staff members throughout the school system that demonstrate leadership, compassion, and heart on a daily basis. One person from every school as well as central services was nominated by their peers, because of their unwavering commitment and dedication to their role. We honor the 53 amazing members of the JCPS family for their work that clearly does not go unnoticed! Thank you!✨ Stay tuned for an event recap video... #ILeadWithMyHeart

Samantha Cabrera earned a February 2024 Character Education Award! She is the president of Meadow School's Students Against Violence Everywhere (SAVE) club, and manages the girls basketball and soccer teams. Cabrera is also an active participant in the Reading Buddies Club, which visits a first grade class each week to read with younger students. She is the epitome of a loyal friend and student. A big round of applause for Samantha Cabrera!🎆 #GreatThingsAreHappeningInJCPS

Tutoring ends at 4:45, please have your child picked up by 5:00. Friday is a busy afternoon and evening. Our Middle School students have a Dance from 3:30-5:30. Parents are asked to arrive prior to 5:30 to pick up your child. Also, from 6:00- 8:00pm that evening our PTO will have BINGO night in our cafeteria. Please support our PTO as this is a fundraiser for their budgeted items this year. Last, if students receive Valentine gifts (balloons especially) they may not be allowed to ride the bus. Parents, we ask that you save these special gifts for when students arrive home in the evening. We hope you all have a great evening and hope to see you at BINGO Friday night.
