The CHHS Pirate Baseball team has made it to the 8A State Championship ball game! Way to go Pirates!!
This Friday, May 29th, at 3:30 PM (line up at 3:15 PM), the Pirate community will cheer on the team as they are sent off to play in Holly Springs. Come out and support Corinth Holders High and their amazing student athletes as they represent Johnston County Public Schools in the 8A State Championship.

Earlier today, the Johnston County Career & Technical Leadership Academy class of 2026 graduated at Johnston Community College to a room full of supporters including teachers, family, and friends.

Kellen Smith, a senior student athlete at South Johnston High School, was presented the 2025-2026 Sam Narron Award earlier today.
Mr. Smith is a standout baseball player who has made an impact on the baseball diamond over the years, and recently signed with East Carolina University to continue his educational and baseball career.
The Sam Narron Award is presented annually to a Johnston County high school senior baseball player who has demonstrated a love for the game through determination, dedication, and sacrifice.
Congratulations Mr. Smith on this extraordinary recognition.

This drop in event will last from 1:00-5:00pm for those needing help with last minute applications, FAFSA, employment opportunities, military connections, and more.
