On Tuesday, April 21, 2026, ECA students participated in our Spring Student Showcase where they presented projects and activities that they have worked on this semester in their high school classes. Parents, students, and future students attended the event held in JCC's Tart lobby.

From rock poetry in Earth & Environmental Science and NMR techniques for protein research in Chemistry to research papers in Health/PE and graphic novel creations in English II, students displayed their creativity and how they have applied their knowledge in interdisciplinary ways.

After our guests and students had a chance to visit everyone's table, they voted on who they thought had the best presentation, with particular emphasis on the design, presenter's explanation and ability to answer questions about their work, and how well they showed their understanding of the course content. We are excited to announce that Ms. Lowdermilk's World History students collectively won the honor of having the best presentations of the night. Special congratulations go to Michaela Capps, Joel Chiguil-Reyes, Charlie Dieffenbach, Kailey Lee, Alysha McWilliams, Zaidyn Molton, Sebastian Rodriguez Pena, Amy Smith, and Lina Tobasura Carvajal for their display of Enlightenment and Revolutions Theme Parks.

Reflecting on the event, Assistant Principal Candace Westbrook stated, "While walking through, seeing the level of student engagement, pride, and confidence was truly impressive." We are incredibly proud of all our students and the hard work they display all throughout the year.
