This is a REMINDER CTLA students must pay CAPS fees by TODAY JANUARY 31st. CAPS fees information is in students' JCC Self Service account for Spring Semester. Students can pay at the Cashier's window in Wilson Building or online through their Self Service account. Students who requested a fee waiver and were approved will see a $0 balance in their JCC Self Service account.

Under the guidance of local emergency officials and out of an abundance of caution, JCPS will operate on a 2-hour delay on Wednesday, January 10, 2024.
Everyone is encouraged to drive with caution when traveling.

For students following the traditional school calendar, Wednesday, December 20, 2023 is an early release day. Then students will be out of school from Thursday, December 21, 2023 - Tuesday, January 2, 2024. Students return to school on Wednesday, January 2, 2024.


JCPS will host a Choice Programs Information Night on Tuesday, December 12, at Smithfield-Selma High, 6 PM to 8 PM.
Attendees will be provided 15 minute information sessions about the various programs offered to 8th graders and a Q&A session.
Students are able to apply for the programs now! The application window for students wanting to attend High School Choice Programs will end on February 21, 2024.

CTLA will host its Parent's Night/Open House on Thursday, November 9, 2023, 6:00 to 7:00 PM. The event will be on Johnston Community College's Campus, in Room 1111 of the Wilson Building.
Parents, guardians, and students are encouraged to attend this event to get more information about the different programs CTLA offers. Students and parents will have the opportunity to meet the CTLA staff and the JCC directors of the various programs, and ask questions.
