Due to the impending inclement weather conditions caused by Tropical Storm Debby, CTLA will be closed TH 8/8 & F 8/9. Both days will be remote learning days. This decision has been made out of an abundance of caution & per guidance of local & state emergency service officials.
Due to inclement weather, high school face-to-face classes are canceled for Wed, Aug 7. Students will have remote learning. Teachers will email assignments. Students will not be penalized if they are unable to complete the assignments; they will be able to make them up.

11:00 am - 1:00 pm - Freshman Welcome and Lunch
1:00 pm - 2:30 pm - Orientation - Principal and Staff
2:30 pm - 3:30 pm - Campus Tour with Student Ambassadors
3:30 pm - 4:50 pm - Report to their classes as outlined on their schedule.
August 6 - All Students (10th - 13th) Report to CTLA: A Welcome Back and Launch from the Principal:
11:00 am - 1:00 pm - Lunch
1:00 pm - 2:15 pm- Sophomores
2:15 pm - 3:30 pm - Juniors
3:30 pm - 4:45 pm - Seniors
August 6 - Freshmen Parent Orientation: 6:00 - 8:00 pm in Wilson 1111.
August 7 - Meet with Super Seniors from 1:00 - 2:00 pm; location TBD.
Note: Bus drivers will contact all bus riders before the first day of school.

JCPS is looking for Reading Buddy volunteers to help our students this summer! We need parents, grandparents, community members, and high school students to join our Summer Reading Camp participants during morning arrival.
Volunteers will listen to and encourage students as they develop their reading skills. No experience is required, but you will need to register and be a volunteer with JCPS before you begin.
