
11/06/23 Announcements: We want YOU to join one of our 3 Cleveland Arts Winter guards! Do you like dancing? Performing? Winter guard is for you! We will be hosting Auditions Nov. 14th and the 16th from 5:30 -8 in the band room; there is no experience required-we have a guard for you! We hope to see you there! If you have any questions, see Mr. Rainville in 513. Congratulations to the Football Team on their 57-13 win over Gray's Creek in the 1st round of the playoffs. The team is now 11-0 and will play Leesville Road (9-2) here on Friday at 7:30 pm. Come out and support the team on their journey through the playoffs!

11/01/23 Announcements: "Blame it on the Rain! Yeah Yeah! Due to rain during 4th block, some Boo Grams were not delivered. Choral students will bring them around today during 4th Block. Attention to all students who signed up for the Black Student Union Meeting. We will be meeting in the Dance Room-Room 511-today. This is right across from the band room. See you there! Environmental Club should check Remind for updates and important notices. Our next meeting will be Nov 7. The Holidays are just around the corner!. The French Club will sponsor a Canned Food Drive October 31- Nov 9th. Donations will benefit the Food bank of Eastern and Central North Carolina. Please drop off canned food donations to room 701 or designated classrooms around the school. Some rooms that will be collecting food are 202, 209, 308, 324, 332, 508, 805, and the Media Center.

10/25/523 Announcements: Early bird deadline to order Cap and Gown and other senior items is Friday, Oct 27. After that date, prices will increase. Get your online orders in today. Underclassmen retake pictures will be held in Nov. 7th. If you did not have your pictures made please plan to be in attendance. The FCCLA Breast Cancer walk will be held during Ramped up B and C on Thursday Oct. 25th. You must donate in order to participate in this awesome event. Stop by 617, 614, or 601 to donate and get your wristband. All money will be donated to the Susan Komen Foundation. The Woman's basketball program will have a final interest meeting before tryouts on Friday during A lunch. Topics will include a recap of Fall Workouts, as well as information related to tryouts. Sign up in the Ramped up App for Coach White's room 327 or contact him for more information. Spirit Club will have a meeting on Thursday -RUA in Room 127. Sign up today. 10/24/23 Announcements: Enter the library's 3rd Annual- Day of the Dead Contest. Stop by the library to select your choice of sugar skull artwork to decorate with stones, feathers, flowers -get creative! Submissions are due by this Thursday, 10/26, and voting will take place on 10/30 &10/31! Winners will receive prizes! The chorus will be selling "Boo" Candy/singing grams starting today October 24th-27th from 6:45 am-7:10am each morning. Grams are $1.00 and include a song serenade and candy treat bag.
The chorus will deliver these "Boo" grams on Tuesday, Oct 31st during 4th Block. They will be Sold outside the Chorus Room 508. See a Chorus member or R. Miller for more details. 10/20/23 Announcements: Congratulations to the men's cross country team on their win yesterday in the conference championship meet. The team was led by Connor Trullinger, who set a personal best time of 16:44- that's 5:23 per mile! The men and women's team set a total of 37 seasons best times yesterday and next head to the Regional Championship meet next Saturday. Congratulations to our Thursday College Application Winner, Andrew Holmes! Stop by Student Services to pick up your gift card to Bojangles or Ugly Mug. Counselors are holding application help sessions in the Media Center during 1st-3rd blocks today for help. The deadline for Deca dues are due today. Several of the 2-year colleges offer career certifications that can be earned in three, six, or twelve months such as diesel engines, HVAC, EMT, or Nurse Aide. This is safe schools week and Principles of Family and Human Services wants to raise the awareness about domestic violence. Please wear purple on Wednesday to show your support.
