5th Grade Parents,
Students are still having trouble logging in through the Student Portals to sign up for ALMS electives. We have reached out to County for assistance.
Electives are first-come, first-serve, so if you have a chance to log in to jcsnc.powerschool.com through your Parent Portal, that works!

What amazing talent. This year's art show was a success. We are so proud of our Pirates!

Dear guardians of rising 6th grade ALMS Gators,
Here is the link that you and your students can use to view and discuss elective choices for next year: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1V4AESSR1aJoJwBKeaknbp-ilm6dBZlMjmpkkSdnZu1I/edit?usp=sharing
Powerschool will open 5/13 for those who wish to enroll at home. Students will need their student ID number to enroll. This can be found on their report card. Any students who have not enrolled 5/14 will select electives during their Enhancement time that day.
Paper copies of descriptions and directions will go home Monday as well.
If you have any questions, please email ashleymorton@johnston.k12.nc.us

Next week (May 13-17) is Spirit Week. Please see the image for our daily themes. We are so proud of our Pirates!

Our first Kindergarten Kick-Off Night was a huge success. Our kindergarten team shared ways to help prepare for kindergarten. Parents received their supply list and were able to sign up for their child's kindergarten assessment. And our future pirates got to meet each other and even take home a little bag of goodies. It was such a great night and we can't wait for them to join our Pirate Crew in August!

Good evening, Pirate families! This is Ms. Lee with information about our Spring Concert. Our Strings Program and our Pirate Singers will be performing tomorrow, Wednesday night at 6pm in the gym. We would love for you to come and support our Pirate musicians! Every student that attends will receive a concert program. They must write their name on their program and bring it to Ms. Lee on Thursday or Friday of this week in order to receive a prize from the music room treasure box. Concert programs will be available upon entry to this free concert. We hope to see you there!

Here are a few updates from local community supports. Please follow the information on the flyers for more information.
