Good evening Pirate Families,
As you may have heard, Johnston County Schools will be closed for students and staff on Wednesday, February 19th. This will be a remote learning day. The amazing teachers at our school put together some great learning opportunities for our students to work on at home in between their romps in the snow. The assignments are listed at the bottom of this email. We hope you all stay safe and warm. Happy Snow Day!

We had some SWEET fun on Tuesday. Six students took turns pie-ing either Ms. Butts or Ms. Butler as one of our fundraiser incentives. Thank goodness, they were made out of whipped cream because those six kids took their job seriously! Thank you to everyone for supporting our PTO Fundraiser. We had a lot of fun and surpassed our goal by raising more than $4000!

We had a blast yesterday at our PJ & Hallway Dance Party, thanks to your support on the Winter PTO Fundraiser. Because we met our fundraising goal, everyone in the building (teachers too) enjoyed a pajama day and a quick hallway dance party. It was so much fun to celebrate our efforts. Wow - our pirates have some serious dance moves!
