Every month, ALMS teachers nominate a Golden Gator from each grade level, as well as a member of our faculty/staff. Archer Lodge Middle School has named its February Golden Gators. Nominees exhibit respect, responsibility, gratitude, empathy, teamwork, kindness, integrity, perseverance, and/or optimism.

Colton Casey was named the 8th grade Golden Gator. Multiple teachers nominated Colton noting his kindness, willingness to lend a hand, encouragement, positivity, energy, passion, and overall awesomeness. “He is an all around sweet boy liked by peers and teachers alike,” and “he adds humor and encouragement to teachers and peers”.

Fredrell O’Neal was named the 7th grade Golden Gator. Many teachers nominated him and spoke very highly of him as an awesome example of what it means to be a Gator. One of his teachers said, “Fred is a hardworking student who takes pride in his work. He demonstrates maturity beyond his years and shows a genuine desire to learn.” Another teacher shared, “I am so proud of the hard work and effort Fred shows up with every single day. He is simply amazing.”

Melana Alley was named the 6th grade Golden Gator. Melana’s teachers say she is helpful, responsible, trustworthy, has a great attitude, and is a role model.

Finally, Stephanie Wright (pictured) was named the Faculty/Staff Golden Gator. She is an exceptional teacher and we are happy to have her at the swamp!
