Every month, ALMS teachers nominate a Golden Gator from each grade level, as well as a member of our faculty/staff. Archer Lodge Middle School has named its December Golden Gators. Nominees exhibit respect, responsibility, gratitude, empathy, teamwork, kindness, integrity, perseverance, and/or optimism.
Warren “Mills” Stancil has been named the 6th grade Golden Gator for his empathy, teamwork, and kindness. Mr. Jackson nominated Mills saying, “Mills never misses a chance to help others. Whether it is to help a fellow student, or to clean up a mess he didn’t make, Mills has an amazing attitude. He empathizes with others and attacks every day with a positive attitude.”
Tariah Lynch is the 7th grade Golden Gator. Nominated for her respect, responsibility, empathy, teamwork, kindness, integrity, perseverance, and optimism, her teacher, Ms. Stone said, “Tariah is an incredible student. She always puts her best effort into classroom activities and is willing to help others if they are confused. She is a kind and helpful classmate. Tariah is a leader in the classroom and works hard to be successful. I am so proud of her!”
JoJo Krejcha is our 8th grade Golden Gator for her teamwork, kindness, perseverance, respect, responsibility, gratitude, empathy, and kindness. More than one teacher nominated JoJo, including Mrs. Blackstone. She said, “I am nominating JoJo for the golden gator award because she consistently shows kindness, teamwork, and perseverance in the classroom. JoJo has such a positive attitude and is always willing to help her teachers and classmates. She works hard on every task, stays focused, and gives her best efforts when something is challenging. Her cheerful spirit and willingness to work as part of a team make her a wonderful example of what it means to be a golden gator!” Another nomination stated, “JoJo is an incredibly kind, hardworking, and positive student who brightens our classroom every single day. She consistently shows respect to her peers and adults, and she approaches school with a warm smile and a caring heart. JoJo is always willing to help others - whether it's encouraging a classmate, assisting a peer who needs support, or being a role model during classroom routines. She listens well, follows directions, and puts full effort into every activity.”
Finally, Mrs. Kristen Pearce (pictured) was named the Faculty/Staff Golden Gator. Mrs. Pearce works hard behind the scenes to support our Gators - both teachers and students.
We are proud of all of our nominees and selected Golden Gators. You help make the swamp the place to be!
