Facility Services is responsible for the maintenance and operations of one of the fastest growing school districts in the state of North Carolina. Johnston County Public Schools consists of 53 buildings, which include PreK and elementary schools, middle schools, high schools and administrative support offices. 

Facility Services oversees: 

  • 5.5 million square feet of buildings on 1,613 acres

  • JCPS operates 48 schools:

    • 23 Elementary Schools (Grades K-5)

    • 1 K-8 School

    • 12 Middle Schools (Grades 6-8)

    • 9 High Schools (Grades 9-12)

    • 2 Grades 6-12 Schools

    • 1 Virtual School
