Kindergarten through Grade 2
Grades K-2 will be reported using the following indicators:
4 - Advanced Understanding of Target. Beyond Mastery within the current grade level.
3 - Meets Expectations for Target. Mastery.
2 - Partial Mastery of Target. Demonstrates partial understanding or can perform portions of the target with assistance.
1 - Little to No Mastery. Cannot demonstrate mastery, even with instructor assistance.
*Artifacts and/or evidence may include quizzes, tests, quick-checks, observation, etc.
Grade 3 through Grade 5
10 Point Grading Scale
Grades will be determined based on an average of work completed.
Letter Grade | Percentage Range |
A | 90-100 |
B | 80-89 |
C | 70-79 |
D | 60-69 |
F | Below 60 |
Proficiency scales are tools that helps show how well a student understands a specific standard. It breaks down learning into different levels, from a basic to more advanced understanding. It can be used like a roadmap showing where a student is on their learning journey and where they are headed.
K-5 Enhancement Grading
3 | Has not mastered required objectives and does less than required. |
2 | Master most required objectives and does what is required. |
1 | Masters required objectives with consistent high quality. |
