Bus 611 (Alta-load 2) will be on time. Bus 702 will pick them up. Load 1 will be one hour late.
Bus 611 will be approximately one hour late this morning.
Don't forget to sign up to participate in this year's Jump Rope for Heart fundraiser. This year hits close to home. Mr. Potochney will be having heart surgery right after our fundraiser. Our teachers got to participate in a wonderful workshop on Emotional Poverty with Ruben Perez on January 25, 2024. We learned and laughed together as we discussed new strategies to help our students and our school community.
West Clayton Elementary Kindergarten students visited the Clayton Center today, January 19, 2024 to hear Donna Washington share a storytelling program. The event was paid for by the Town of Clayton and the Clayton Center. Our Bus fees were provided by our wonderful WCES PTA.
It's time for our PTA Winter Dance! All forms and money due by February 5. No exceptions.
Dear Parents,
We are proud to announce that our school will be participating in Kids Heart Challenge this year from Feb 2-15. When your student joins our school's team, they will learn how to keep their hearts and brains healthy, get moving with fun activities, meet kids with special hearts and raise funds for the health of all hearts. Plus, they'll feel good for doing good! Our school can also earn PE equipment and your child can earn fun thank you gifts.
Everything can be done easily online with our Kids Heart Challenge app or website (heart.org/schools). Send emails, texts, and post social media messages to collect donations online.
With a $10 online donation, students will receive "Spark" and "Skip", two of the Heart Heroes, plus, a free wristband just for registering online! The remaining Heart Heroes can be earned instantly and will be passed out right away. The rest of the thank you gifts will be distributed after our event concludes. Let's do it for Coach!
