Congratulations to our Winter Guard on an amazing season! We are so proud of our Wolves! They have had many accomplishments this season. The team has moved out of middle school classification to SRA2. They continued on from SRA2 to SRA1 high school level classification. Recently, the team won a WGI Regional, finishing 5th place out of 19 high school groups.

Johnston County Public Schools wants your feedback on its next Strategic Plan. In the fall, we received input from over 12,000 members of the Johnston County Public Schools community on what we need to move our district forward over the next five years.
Please plan to join us this evening, Monday, March 18th, from 6:00-7:15 pm at Swift Creek Middle School to learn how we have incorporated community feedback and weigh in on our progress thus far. Participants will preview the district’s new vision, mission, values, and goals before engaging in table discussions that will inform revisions moving forward.
See you there!

Congratulations to all of our teams who competed in Battle of the Books! 📚

Last night, JCPS celebrated the 2024 Leading with the Heart recipients!💝
The event, inspired by Mike Krzyzewski’s book, “Leading with the Heart,” recognizes those staff members throughout the school system that demonstrate leadership, compassion, and heart on a daily basis. One person from every school as well as central services was nominated by their peers, because of their unwavering commitment and dedication to their role.
We honor the 53 amazing members of the JCPS family for their work that clearly does not go unnoticed! Thank you!✨
Stay tuned for an event recap video...
