All aboard the Polar Express!🚂
Swift Creek Middle held a Polar Express Winter event, which treated the students to a holiday meal lovingly created by JCPS School Nutrition Services. The holiday meal included chicken pastry, carrot souffle, green beans, corn muffins, and more!
Each student received a Polar Express Golden Ticket to visit the Hot Chocolate Station, and a silver jingle bell with Believe printed on it, as a reminder to believe in the magic of the holiday season.✨

Help us congratulate Eliza, Kolton, and Kennedy who were selected by their teachers for showing KINDNESS to their peers and others around school this month. Swift Creek is a better place because of these students! Way to go Wolves!

We continue to grow and improve each & every day! 🌟
JCPS English learners showed more improvement than the state average in back-to-back years! 👏

One last reminder that there is no school tomorrow, Tuesday, October 22, 2024, for JCPS students on the traditional calendar. 📅

Swift Creek Middle School Principal Dr. Kerri Evans is our next incredible administrator for #NationalPrincipalsMonth! 🌟
Dr. Evans has been leading the pack since 2017 when the school opened. She gives her all to the Swift Creek community, and this year is no different.
Let’s give a big Swift Creek howl for Dr. Evans!🐺

JCPS showed exceptional growth for the 2023-2024 school year❗
Eleven schools are no longer on the Assisted Targeted Support and Improvement list. JCPS is moving forward! 🚂
#GreatThingsAreHappeningInJCPS

JCPS is raising the bar of academic success! ⬆
We were above the state average for all EOG/EOC subject areas in grades 3-8 and in high school Math 1 and Biology. ✨
#GreatThingsAreHappeningInJCPS

With the guidance of exceptional educators, our students continue to excel! 😎
According to the academic growth data, from the 2023-2024 school year, 54% of our schools exceeded growth, compared to the state average of 29%. 💪
#GreatThingsAreHappeningInJCPS

JCPS continues to improve its school performance grades! 🌟
We are proud to announce that 89% of our schools received a school letter grade of A, B, or C according to recent data, surpassing the state average of 66%. This is a tremendous increase since 2018, when 65% of our schools were identified as the same.
Through dedication and hard work, three schools moved from a letter grade of C to B, and four schools moved from D to C! 👏

Thousands of supplies. Hundreds of donors. One common goal…helping those in their time of need. ❤
Today our Facility Services team gathered supplies from our schools, which were Hurricane Helene Relief donation sites. In a few hours, these supplies will be transported to Western North Carolina.
Thank you to the many, many students, parents, and staff who have responded promptly and compassionately.
Also, a special thanks to Johnston County Government and the Johnston County Sheriff's Office for allowing us to partner with you in this effort. 🤝
