This award is presented to the male and the female athletes who best exemplify the concept of the student athlete and have demonstrated by example those ideals and attributes which characterize Smithfield Middle student athletes.
The ideals and attributes considered are athletic ability, academic performance, character, citizenship, discipline, honesty, teamwork, and unselfishness.
