Battle of the Books is a competitive academic team of 10 students from 4th-5th grade. Battle of the Books is for students that have a passion for reading novels. These students read 16 books from the NCSLMA Elementary Battle of the Books list and practice for the district competition that typically occurs in February or March. Students must be able to answer questions on key details and events from the novel. They must answer each question by stating the title and author of the book.
