Congratulations to Our April 2026 Employees of the Month!

Chan Hales – 7th & 8th Grade Exceptional Children’s Teacher

Mrs. Hales has served this year as an Exceptional Children’s Inclusion Teacher in two eighth-grade English Language Arts classrooms, as well as seventh-grade English Language Arts and Math. She transitioned into this new role with a positive attitude and a strong commitment to student achievement and growth.

She is a true team player and an active contributor to our school community. Mrs. Hales has dedicated twenty-nine years to North Johnston Middle and has a deep love for the Jaguar community. We are incredibly thankful for the expertise and support she brings to classrooms across our school.

Amanda Chestnut – Custodian & Bus Driver

Mrs. Chestnut is dependable and deeply committed to her roles as both a custodian and bus driver. She works closely with the custodial team and is a strong team player. She builds positive relationships with both students and staff and communicates high expectations to students on her bus route and in her hallway.

She approaches each day with a positive attitude and a willingness to help wherever needed. Her hard work and reliability do not go unnoticed. In recent weeks, she has served on multiple bus routes to ensure that students are transported safely and without delay in the afternoons.

We are proud to celebrate Mrs. Hales and Mrs. Chestnut for their dedication, teamwork, and meaningful impact on our school.
