Five members of our NJMS FFA had an amazing time at the 2026 Area IV Envirothon Competition!

This was our first year competing, and it was such a fun and rewarding experience.

The Envirothon program, sponsored by the NC Association of Soil & Water Conservation Districts, challenges students to work as a team while testing their knowledge of environmental issues across five key areas: Aquatics, Forestry, Soil/Land Use, Wildlife, and Current Environmental Issues.

We are so proud of our team members —
Caleb Carter, Georgia Wood, Carter Thornton, Kinsley Shumaker, and McKinley Holder — for their hard work, teamwork, and the way they represented our chapter.

Way to go, Jaguars!
