NJMS FFA STUDENT SPOTLIGHT

The North Johnston Middle FFA had a great day traveling to NC A&T State University to compete in the 2026 NC Middle Grades FFA Rally on Friday, March 6th! We are so proud to share the success of our amazing members.

Our Ag Tools Team tied for FIRST place in the state! Team members included Kaylee Black, McKinley Holder, Kinsley Shumaker, and Harper Woodring. Even more impressive, three of our members earned perfect scores on both the written test and the tool ID portion of the contest!

Georgia Fulkerson competed in Prepared Public Speaking and placed FOURTH in the state! She did an outstanding job presenting her speech about women in agriculture.

We are incredibly proud of our students and the hard work they put into preparing for today’s events. It was a great day for NJMS FFA!

Our FFA Advisor, Ally Lavely, and Ag Science Student Teacher, Emma Rotzler, attended the rally with our students.
